Recipe Ingredients for Chili, South Beach version

1 pounds ground beef, 90% fat free
28 oz diced tomatoes
15 oz kidney beans
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 green pepper, chopped
1/4 red pepper, chopped
1/4 yellow pepper, chopped
1/4 orange pepper, chopped
1 tsp cumin
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

Recipe Directions for Chili, South Beach version

  1. in olive oil brown beef with 1 tsp chili powder and cumin

  2. put aside, and in same pan, saute veggies til soft

  3. add tomato and beans, cover and simmer 10 min

  4. add beef back in and warm again.
