Recipe Ingredients for Chili Relleno

5 serrano peppers,
16 oz corn
2 pepper jalapeno, chopped
1 red onion, chopped
1 tsp bay leave
2 garlic cloves, minded
28 oz diced tomatoes, well-drained
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp Cumin
1 tbsp Oregano

Recipe Directions for Chili Relleno

  1. Put the green pepper to broil for about 20 minutes.

  2. In a pan, heat the oil.

  3. Take the corn out of the cobs.

  4. Add to the pan the corn, the onion, the jalapeno, cumin, oregano and garlic. Remove and simmer

  5. Add the tomatoes very well-drained and let it cook for a couple of minutes more.

  6. Take the green pepper for the broil, and cut in half (do not divide them in two) and remove the seed.

  7. In a oven pan, put the pepper, fill them out with the corn preparation and put the shredded cheese over.
