Chili recipe- adapted from Bush's beans recipe in an old Kraft magazine (Fall 2004)

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1 lb. ground turkey
32 oz. kidney beans
14 oz. diced tomatoes
6 oz. tomato paste
1/2 c. water
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp. Splenda
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. oregano
1 tbsp. cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Brown meat with green pepper and onion.

  2. Add all other ingredients except cheese.

  3. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

  4. Turn heat to low; simmer for 20 minutes.

  5. Garnish with cheese.
