Makes 6 servings



One Serving equals 1 cup. Add Onion powder to taste.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1 lb. Ground beef, 90% Lean
15 oz. Tomato Sauce
2 cups kidney beans
1 large Green pepper
2 tbsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Chop Green Pepper

  2. In a large Pot saute green pepper and a couple of dashes of onion powder in 2 tsp. of canola oil over medium - high heat (for 5 minutes).

  3. Add meat and continue to cook another 5 mins.

  4. Add Tomato suace, kidney beans, chili powder and salt, stirring occastionally. Bring to a boil and lower heat.

  5. Continue to cook on low - medium heat, uncovered, for about 15 minutes or until it thickens.
