Makes 8 servings



made with whole wheat noodles and lean ground beef. Can be made using ground turkey.

Recipe Ingredients for chili

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
15 oz red kidney beans
6 oz tomato paste
6 oz tomato sauce
2 cups noodles
12 oz diced tomato
2 tbl chili powder
1 cup water

Recipe Directions for chili

  1. brown ground meat.

  2. Boil noodles and drain

  3. combine all other ingredients with browned meat. Cook on stove over low-med heat for 2 hrs giving flavors a chance to blend. Stir in noodles and serve.
