Venison is a very lean meat and the tomato juice covers up the "gamey" taste very well.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1 lbs ground venison
1 liters tomato juice
12 oz chili beans

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Brown the meat.

  2. Pour the tomato juice and beans into a pot and add the ground meat. Add chopped onion and celery if you wish.

  3. Season with A LOT of chili powder and simmer for a couple of hours.

  4. Serve plain, over macaroni noodles or with shredded cheese and sour cream.

  5. Enjoy!
