Simple chili that can be served on its own or over rice. Easy to adapt (adding your favorite vegetables).

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

2 lbs lean ground beef
796 ml red kidney beans
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper,
1 small onion, diced
2 tbl chili powder
35 g chili mix
680 ml tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Brown lean ground beef. Drain off excess fat.

  2. Add salt and pepper.

  3. Add onions and let simmer for a few minutes, stirring so it doesn't stick. You can also add other vegetable at this point.

  4. Stir in beans.

  5. Add chili powder and packaged chili mix.

  6. Stir in tomato sauce.

  7. Let simmer, stirring occasionally, until beans soften.
