Recipe Ingredients for Chili!

1 cup black beans, dry
2.64 pounds beef, sirloin
100 grams dried chile peppers
15 1/2 ounce tomatos
2 tbsp crisco
1 tbsp tomato paste
3 cups diced onions
80 grams chipotle in adobo
8 cloves garlic
5 2/5 grams cocoa powder
3 cups water

Recipe Directions for Chili!

  1. Simmer beans in water until just barely done. Drain, saving the water. Use this water for later.

  2. bake the dried peppers for a while, then grind it into powder. Then add some water to make a paste.

  3. Brown beef in some crisco.

  4. Remove beef, add onions.

  5. Move onions over, add oil, then toast chile paste along with the garlic (minced)

  6. Then add everything else.

  7. Simmer on stove top or-- if Dutch oven is down with it-- bake in oven for a long time. Oven temp should be low.
