Basic chili recipe. Serving size is 1 cup.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1 tblsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
6 cloves garlic, minced
1 peppers, sweet green
1 pound ground beef, 90% / 10%
15 1/2 oz kidney beans
31 oz black beans
49 oz canned tomatoes, diced

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Cut up onion, garlic, and bell pepper.

  2. Saute in the olive oil.

  3. After veggies are soft add the ground beef and brown.

  4. Add all the beans and canned tomatoes (20 oz of the tomatoes are actually Rotel with the green chilies added, but CC does not have the calore count on that brand)

  5. Add spices like - chili powder, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, paprika, cinnamon (light touch), cumin and anything else you want.

  6. Simmer for 30 minutes.
