Beef chili, 80% lean, 20% fat No beans

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

2 lbs. ground beef, 80% lean, 20% fat
15 oz. diced tomatoes
15 oz. tomato sauce
1 onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 tbsp. cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Dice onion and bell pepper.

  2. Heat skillet. Spray with nonstick cooking spray.

  3. Add onion, bell pepper and beef.

  4. Brown beef.

  5. Add canned tomatoes and sauce.

  6. Add seasonings (take it easy on salt- canned tomatoes have plenty).

  7. Bring to boil. Lower to simmer 1 hour.

  8. Top with 2 TBSP cheddar.
