Good with crunched up white corn chips, or crackers

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1/2 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp ground cumin
35 g of chili seasoning
1 lb Beef, Ground, 93% Lean Meat / 7% Fat, Crumbles - Cooked, Pan-browned
411 g of petite diced tomatoes
432 g of corn
113 g of chopped green chiles
425 g of ranch style beans

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Break up, and pan brown ground beef into crumbles. Add onion powder and cumin while meat is still pink.

  2. When meat is thoroughly brown stir in chili seasoning (I use McCormick's) to coat ground beef. Let this cook for a couple of minutes to let the flavor into the meat.

  3. Add tomatoes, corn, green chiles, and ranch style beans (or kidney beans, or pinto beans - whichever you desire)

  4. Simmer for 20 minutes.

  5. Serve alone or over crushed chips or crackers.

  6. Sprinkle grated cheese if desired.
