This chili is really good--I sometimes alter the types of beans I use, without much variation in the calorie count. It's super easy to make, and always gets tons of compliments.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1 lb ground sirloin
1 cup black beans
1 1/2 cups Bush's chili beans
2 cups diced onion
1 medium green bell pepper
1 1/4 oz. mccormick hot chili seasoning mix
2 cloves garlic
2 1/2 cups diced tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Brown ground beef, diced onion, diced bell pepper, and garlic.

  2. Add all other ingredients, simmer until vegetables are tender (usually about 20 minutes)

  3. Can add Tabasco (0 calories), best served with shredded cheddar cheese.
