mama's seasoning and no beef, vegeterian chili!

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1 1/2 cups lentils
2 cups six bean blend
375 g ragu
398 ml maple beans
50 g red lentils
37 g onion soup mix
2 tsp garlic, minced
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tbsp brown sugar, packed
1 tsp cumin
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
4 ml cayenne pepper
2 tsp hot sauce

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. preheat oven to 325F

  2. drain and rinse lentils and mixed beans

  3. rinse and cook dried red lentils in boiling water

  4. add maple beans, drained beans and cooked lentils to an oven proof dish

  5. add seasonings and ragu (this is spicy so 4ml of cayenne is optional)

  6. put in oven. After about 15 mins stir. Leave for another 30-35minutes to heat thoroughly and mingle flavours.

  7. Absolutely fantastic.
