Mmmm...Yummy. This chili isn't too spicy. Makes 16 1/2-cup servings.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili

1 cup onion, diced
2 tbs garlic, minced
1 lb lean ground beef
30 oz tomato sauce
15 oz diced tomatoes
2 tbs chili powder
1 tbs ground cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
15 oz red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
15 oz black beans, rinsed and drained
15 oz navy beans, rinsed and drained

Recipe Directions for Chili

  1. Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic together in 2-quart saucepan; drain.

  2. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and spices. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 1 hr.

  3. Add beans and simmer another 10-20 minutes, until chili reaches desired thickness.
