Recipe Ingredients for Chili Meat Slop

1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1 pound regular ground beef
1 onion, chopped
2 cups water
28 ounce canned crushed tomatoes
2 carrots (shredded)
2 tablespoon garlic powder
4 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper (optional - leave out if you don't want spicy)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 head green cabbage (shredded thin)
3/4 cup Quinoa

Recipe Directions for Chili Meat Slop

  1. Chop Cabbage Thin. Shred Carrots.

  2. Cook meat in olive oil. Add onions.

  3. Add 2 cup water, and remainder of ingredients. Mix well, bring to a boil.

  4. Cover and set to low for 30 minutes. Simmer for longer if you wish it to be a bit less watery.
