Chili with ground beef, beans, tomatoes, seasoning mix

Recipe Ingredients for Chili with meat and beans

1 oz Chili Seasoning Mix
2 portion ( yield from 1/2 lb raw meat ) Beef, Ground, 75% Lean Meat / 25% Fat, Crumbles
14 oz Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
14 oz Beans, Pinto, Mature Seeds
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions

Recipe Directions for Chili with meat and beans

  1. Chop onions

  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat until no longer pink. Drain.

  3. Saute chopped onion in a little oil until translucent, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add browned beef back to skillet, seasoning mix, 1/2 cup water, canned tomatoes and canned beans.

  5. Stir well, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, simmer 20 minutes.
