Good chili for salads, w/ cheese burritos, etc.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili - homemade

9 oz raw 80% Lean Ground Chuck
7 oz All Natural Ground Sweet Italian Sausage
14 oz Kidney Beans
28 oz Diced Tomatoes
6 oz Tomato Sauce
4 oz Tomato Paste
6 teaspoons McCormick's Taco Seasoning
1 clove Garlic
4 1tsp Olive Oil
4 tbsp Chili Powder

Recipe Directions for Chili - homemade

  1. Brown chuck and sausage.

  2. Add Taco seasoning to meat (save some for sauce)

  3. Saute onions in olive oil and garlic

  4. Add tomatoes and sugar(punch)

  5. Add tomato sauce and paste

  6. Add remaining taco seasoning

  7. Add kidney or pinto beans

  8. Bring sauce to a simmer. Add meat mixture to sauce.

  9. Simmer 1 hr. Add Chili powder. Let sit 20 minutes.
