a good cold weather meal. I turn up the heat by using hot and spicy seasoning and adding jalepeno peppers. It is also tasty with a bit of onion and green pepper.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili con carne

1 lb ground beef
28 oz tomatoes, crushed
22 oz red kidney beans
4 oz taco seasoning

Recipe Directions for Chili con carne

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef. Drain.

  2. Add tomatoes, beans, taco/chili seasoning and water.

  3. Bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat, simmer for 30 min.
