Recipe Ingredients for Chili Con Carne

1/2 cup Diced Tomatoes
100 grams Ground Beef
1 serving Minced Whole Onion
1 cloves, raw Garlic
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 oz Beans
1 serving Gourmet Collection Chili Powder

Recipe Directions for Chili Con Carne

  1. place 1/2 pound of dry kidney beans in pot, cover with four cups boiled water. Bring pot to another boil, cover and set aside for two hours.

  2. Saute one pound of ground beef withone minced onion and one clove garlic. Place in a three quart crock pot. Drain beans saving water in a cup, add drained beans to crock pot, add fourteen and a half ounce can of diced tomatoes and one six ounce can of tomato paste. Add two tablespoons of chili powder and enough drained bean water to pot to mix with tomato paste.

  3. Cook on high for three hours and low for five to six hours. Can be served in a bread bowl or a regular bowl topped with grated chedder cheese (optional)
