A traditional chili, baked in the oven with a cheesy crust.

Recipe Ingredients for Chili Con Carne Bake

390 g chopped tomatoes
2 tbsp tomato puree
400 g Beans, Kidney, Red, Mature Seeds, Canned
400 g haricot beans
150 g sweetcorn
150 g mushrooms
1 red pepper
430 g Beef
75 g low fat cheddar cheese
1 Cucumber

Recipe Directions for Chili Con Carne Bake

  1. Brown the mince.

  2. Add the chopped up mushrooms and pepper, cook till almost done.

  3. Add the beans and sweetcorn, and all their sauce. Cook for a few more minutes.

  4. Transfer to a oven dish, and grate the cheese over the top.

  5. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 170 C.

  6. Cut the cucumber into chunks and serve along side.
