Slightly modified from Moosewood's Low Fat Cookbook

Recipe Ingredients for Chili Burgers

1 cup, chopped Onions
15 grams Garlic
0.3 oz Extra Virgin Olive Oil
0.25 cup, grated Carrots
2 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cumin
15 oz Pinto Beans
15 oz Navy Beans
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 oz Classic Yellow
2 tbsp Organics Tomato Ketchup
1.5 cup dry Old Fashioned Quaker Oats

Recipe Directions for Chili Burgers

  1. Saute onions, garlic, grated carrots, and spices.

  2. Mash beans.

  3. Add all remaining ingredients except oats. Stir to combine. Add veggie mix and oats. Stir to combine. Form into 6 patties and cook in a sprayed skillet or bake.
