Recipe Ingredients for Chili beans and rice

2 cups water
1 cup brown rice, long grain
1 can beans, kidney
14 1/2 oz tomatoes (del monte)
1 cup corn, frozen
1/2 pound ground turkey
1/2 pound ground beef, 93% fat free
2 tbsp red chili powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
6 oz cheddar, shredded

Recipe Directions for Chili beans and rice

Prepare brown rice separately. Mix ground meats together and brown. Drain beans and rinse with water to remove excess juice. Mix beans, corn, and tomatoes with meat and stir until heated through. Add garlic and chili powder. You can add more chili powder if you like things spicier. Serve over rice and top with one ounce of shredded cheddar.
