Recipe Ingredients for Chickpea Soup

0.5 cup Olive Oil
3 Can Chick Peas
1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions
0.062 cup White Whole Wheat Flour
1 lemon yields Lemon Juice

Recipe Directions for Chickpea Soup

  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas,

  2. Put 1 can of chickpeas in the food processor until smooth. Set aside.

  3. Heat olive oil in frying pan and add 1 chopped onion.

  4. Add solid chickpeas and mix well.

  5. Transfer to a large pot and add processed chickpeas.

  6. Mix the flour and lemon juice. Add to pot.

  7. Cover and cook 5-10 minutes or until hot and thick.
