Recipe Ingredients for Chickpea Salad

360 grams Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds, Canned
0.5 cup, chopped Carrots
104 grams Cucumber
3 tbsp chopped Onions
0.5 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 tsp(6 g) Salt, Table
1.5 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 serving Balsamic Vinegar
0.5 tbsp Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Chickpea Salad

  1. Drain chickpeas thoroughly.

  2. Chop vegetables and stir together with chickpeas.

  3. Add spices and toss.

  4. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar then stir to coat.

  5. Best when left to sit in the refrigerator for a few hours (or overnight).
