a great vegan recepie. if you would like substitute the dry seasoning for fresh. 1/2 cup basil and 1/4 cup parsley. if at the right time of year. it is great.

Recipe Ingredients for chickpea salad

110 g 3/4 cup onion
480 g 2 cups canned diced tomato no salt added
120 g 1/2 cup sliced olived black canned
6 g TBS lemon juice
75 g 1/4 cup + 1 TBS red wine vinegar
54 g 1/4 cup olive oil
12 g 1 teaspoon granulate sugar
492 g 2 cans chick peas no salt added
4 1/2 g 1 TBS ground basil
3/10 g 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Recipe Directions for chickpea salad

  1. drain beans in a conunder rinse well. than place in a large bowl with the maranade in it. (1TBS lemon juice and 1 TBS red wine vinegar)

  2. add all the vegtables together, tomatos (fresh or canned) oives and onion) place them in the bowl with the beans. ass in the seasonings. let sit up to 2 hours till time to serve.

  3. put the 1/4 cup red wine vinegar into a bowl and whisk in sugar and olive oil. gently mix dressing into salad and season with salt and pepper to tast.

  4. serve cold or warmed ont he counter.
