Recipe Ingredients for Chickpea Patties

2 tsp olive oil
1 1/2 cup onion
1 cup celery
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup chickpeas
2 cloves garlic
2 T tamari
3/4 tsp thyme
1 T capers
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup brown rice
3/4 cup quick oats
2 T olive oil

Recipe Directions for Chickpea Patties

  1. saute veggies.

  2. puree garlic and chickpeas, then add rice and puree.

  3. stir in oats

  4. refrigerate for 30 mins

  5. form into patties

  6. fry for 6-9 minutes each side, until golden
