3/4 cup garbanzo beans
3 cups water
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup onion
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup almonds
2 teaspoon salt
1 cup squash
1 cup green beans

Recipe Directions for Chickpea a la king

  1. boil chickpeas until done (yields 2 cups cooked)

  2. sautee onions, squash, green beans in olive oil

  3. blend flour, water, almonds, salt in blender

  4. add to sauteed mixture

  5. add chick peas and cook until thickened

  6. serve over pasta or rice
