Recipe Ingredients for Chickpea Curry

1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion
1 clove garlic
1 tsp fresh ginger root
1 tsp cloves, ground
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp turmeric
15 oz garbanzo beans

Recipe Directions for Chickpea Curry

  1. heat oil in frying pan

  2. saute onions until tender

  3. add spices

  4. cook for 1 minute over medium heat, stirring constantly

  5. add garbanzo beans and their liquid

  6. cook and stir until well blended and all ingredients are heated through
