Recipe Ingredients for Chickpea Curry

1 medium raw Onion Red
2 cloves, raw(6 g) Garlic
2 tsp Ginger Root
1 oz Chilli
0.5 tsp Turmeric, Ground
0.75 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Cumin
2 tomato Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 tbsp Tomato Paste
400 grams Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans, Bengal Gram), Mature Seeds, Canned
200 grams Spinach
1.5 cup Rice, Brown, Medium-grain, Cooked

Recipe Directions for Chickpea Curry

  1. Add chopped onion and spices to a pan and cook until onion is soft.

  2. Add diced tomatoes and tomato paste and cook for a couple of minutes.

  3. Add the canned chickpeas in with their juices and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  4. Take off heat and mix through spinach.
