Recipe Ingredients for Chickpea and Cabbage Soup

42 oz canned Garbanzo Beans
14 oz Tomatoes with Green Chilies
1 head, medium cabbage
3 bell peppers
1 onion
3 stalks, large celery
2 medium carrots
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp ground turmeric
1 tbsp Seasoned Salt (can use Adobo Seasoning)

Recipe Directions for Chickpea and Cabbage Soup

  1. Chop veggies

  2. saute in oil

  3. add seasonings

  4. drain canned beans

  5. add whole can of tomatoes with chilies

  6. add water just to cover

  7. bring to boil and let simmer for 30-45 min

  8. separate into 2 cup containers, let cool and refrigerate
