Recipe Ingredients for Chickpea Burgers with Tahini Sauce

15 oz canned chickpeas
2 green onions
1 egg
2 tbsp flour
1 tbsp fresh oregano
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp salt
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 pita bread
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tbsp tahini
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/3 cup cilantro
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Chickpea Burgers with Tahini Sauce

  1. In food processor, pulse chickpeas through olive oil until smooth.

  2. Form into four patties.

  3. Cook in pan 4-5 minutes.

  4. Flip and cook 2-3 minutes.

  5. Make sauce by mixing remaining ingredients, yogurt through salt.

  6. Sere in warm half pita with tomatoes and sprouts.
