Some been infused lentils, meant to be a component, not a meal.

Recipe Ingredients for Chickeny Lentils

1 cup Brown Lentils
1 cup water
2 cups Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth
1 medium videlia onion
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 oz Garlic
2 oz Kale

Recipe Directions for Chickeny Lentils

  1. Rinse and pick over Lentils

  2. Empty 1 can Reduced Sodium Broth in to a medium pan

  3. Mix in desired spices. I would suggest some garlic powder and/or chili powder/paprika

  4. Put rinsed lentils in same pan

  5. Bring to boil, then simmer for 30-45 minutes, until Lentils reach the desired level of tenderness.
