1 cup butter
1 1/4 cup flour
80 ounces chicken broth
12 ounces evaporated milk
2 cup cooked wild rice
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
10 baby carrots
2 celery stalks
8 ounces chopped mushrooms
2 cups chicken breast

Recipe Directions for Chicken Wild Rice Soup by Sue Heidemann

Melt butter, add flour gradually to make a paste. Boil 2-5 minutes while stirring. Stir in chicken broth slowly over medium heat. When creamy, add evaporated milk. Saute veggies. Add rice, veggies, and chicken. Simmer x 30 minutes.
