0.5 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
12 oz Wine, Table, White
1 oz Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
0.5 cup Milk, Reduced Fat, Fluid, 2% Milkfat
6 tbsp Butter
4 oz Half and Half Milk
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Lemon Juice, Canned Or Bottled
3 oz Sharp Cheddar
2.5 serving (Great Value) Whole Wheat Rotini
3 medium raw Tomato Roma

Recipe Directions for Chicken with whole wheat rotinie and light cheese sauce

  1. Make sauce: Melt butter

  2. Add flour

  3. Stir in wine, milk & half & half

  4. lower heat and simmer

  5. Add grated cheese

  6. Chop up chicken to bite size chunks

  7. Cook in olive oil with lemon juice

  8. Cook rotini until al dente

  9. Combine sauce with cooked chicken and rotini, add tomatoes
