Recipe Ingredients for chicken vegetable soup

5 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
5 carrot (7-1/2") Carrots
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia)(119 g) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 large Onions
1 cup Leeks, (Bulb And Lower Leaf-portion)
6 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
1 medium Squash, Summer, Zucchini, Includes Skin
1 cup Peas, Green
4 cup Chicken Broth
8 serving Chicken Bouillon Bouillon Cubes
2.5 cup, chopped or diced Chicken, Breast, Meat Only

Recipe Directions for chicken vegetable soup

  1. in a soup pot add onions, carrots, celery, leeks over medium heat cook until onions are transluscent.

  2. add all other vegetables and cook for an additional few minutes.

  3. add broth and bring to boil

  4. add chopped up chicken and bring back to boil, until chicken is cooked through

  5. reduce heat to simmer until everything is cooked through.

  6. season to taste and serve
