Chicken and Vegetable Soup made from scratch.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken & Vegetable Soup

3 cups chicken broth
16 oz chicken meat
2 cups celery
2 cups carrots
5 red potatoes
3 zucchini
2 squash
10 cups water
1 tsp sage
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
3 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for Chicken & Vegetable Soup

In a large pot, place one whole chicken and cover with water. Add salt, pepper and garlic. Boil water and reduce to simmer and cook until chicken is done. Remove chicken and strain the broth. Remove all chicken meat from the bones and dispose of the bones. Add the chicken back to the broth with all the vegetables. Cook on low for several hours until the vegetables are soft.
