Simple Chicken Vegetable Soup with Macaroni

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Vegetable Soup

12 oz chicken breasts - skinless steamed
2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
1 stalk celery
1/4 c chopped onion
1/2 tsp chopped garlic
6 cups chicken broth
1 cup macaroni
1 tbs butter
1 tbs parsley
1 tbs sweet basil

Recipe Directions for Chicken Vegetable Soup

  1. steam chicken breast

  2. saute onion, garlic, and celery in butter

  3. add frozen vegetables and cook for 3 minutes

  4. add chopped chicken breast

  5. add chicken broth and bring to boil

  6. add parsley, basil, salt and pepper to taste

  7. let simmer for 20 minutes

  8. add macaroni and cook for 10 minutes

  9. serve
