Recipe Ingredients for Chicken and Veg soup

1/2 cup chopped onion
3 cloves chopped garlic
1/2 cup chopped broccoli
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped cabbage
1/2 cup green lentils
1 1/2 cup chopped chicken
6 cups water
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 salt and pepper

Recipe Directions for Chicken and Veg soup

  1. boil water, then add lentils and cook 1/2 of the time recommended on the package.

  2. Add the chicken and seasonings, and cook until 5 minutes from done.

  3. Add the chopped veg, and simmer for 5 minutes before serving.
