Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Tortilla Soup

1800 cal Whole Chicken
1 large Onions
16 oz Tomatoes Diced with Green Chilies
1 cup Corn Flour, Masa, Enriched
3 tsp Sea Salt
12 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Chicken Tortilla Soup

  1. Boil chicken and onion for at least two hours... until the chicken is falling off the bone.

  2. Remove chicken from water. Remove meat from the bone, discarding skin. Place the meat back in the water. Add the diced tomatoes and green chiles.

  3. Cook for a while longer, to reheat everything.

  4. Make a paste with the masa and some cold water from the tap. Add slowly to soup, stirring constantly.

  5. Continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until ready to serve.
