Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Tortilla Soup

3 cups shredded chicken, boneless and skinless
1 tbsp garlic
4 cup chicken broth
14 1/2 oz mexican stewed tomatos
14 1/2 oz diced tomatos
1 cup salsa
1 cup cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp cumin

Recipe Directions for Chicken Tortilla Soup

  1. Cook and shred chicken or use a store bought roasted chicken and remove the skin.

  2. Combine all ingredients into slow cooker.

  3. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours.

  4. Serve with lowfat mexican cheese blend, sour cream, tortilla chips and diced avocado.
