A home-made chicken teriyaki recipe

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Teriyaki

10 oz Chicken
16 serving Low-Sodium Teriyaki Sauce (Kikkoman)
0.5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
4 serving Soy Sauce

Recipe Directions for Chicken Teriyaki

  1. Chop chicken to desired size, usually bite size

  2. Combine all other ingredients (except 1 tbsp of olive oil, corn starch, and water) into large bowl.

  3. Add chicken to the sauce, allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes. Can marinate overnight if desired.

  4. Add remaining olive oil to skillet or wok and warm pan on a low heat.

  5. Remove chicken from marinade, add to the pan and cook thoroughly, usually between 10-15 minutes.

  6. Add 1/2 tsp corn starch to 1/2 cup of water, stir until dissolved. Pour mixture into marinade.

  7. Add the marinade to the skillet, cook for an additional 2-5 minutes until sauce has thickened.
