You can call this soup or chili but it is wonderful. This recipe is also very adaptable to your tastes. My mother loves it with frozen corn added at the end of cooking time.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Taco Soup

1/2 cup onion, chopped
16 ounce chili beans
15 ounce black beans
1 carrot, chopped
8 ounce tomato sauce
1 tbs green chiles, chopped
12 oz beer
6 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbs chili powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 tbs cumin
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp oregano

  1. Add all ingredients to slow cooker

  2. cook on high 5-8 hours
