really good "chicken" style simmering liquid from Veganize This. My local store did not have Mimic cream, so I used Taste of Thai coconut milk - it separates in the can & gives you a lovely thick, unsweet cream that you can use (i cup). Also the original called for shallot powder & roasted garlic powder, but I just used "real" diced shallot & garlic, it was fine.

Recipe Ingredients for "Chicken" Style Seitan Simmering Liquid

4 Cube Vegetable Stock Cubes
8 cup (8 fl oz) Water
7 medium White Button Mushrooms Packaged
3 serving Coconut Milk
1 tbsp chopped Shallots
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 serving Roasted Garlic
2 leaves Spices Whole Bay Leaves

Recipe Directions for "Chicken" Style Seitan Simmering Liquid

Combine all ingredients, bring to boil.Add seitan cutlets, reduce to simmer, simmer covered for 1 hour.
