Easy to make hot sandwiches. The outside gets very crunchy and the inside is warm and gooey! (**Note that the nutritional info is slightly misleading - it ends up being lower because you actually throw away most of the bread)

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Stuffed Buns

2 Sourdough buns (about 200 calories each)
4 oz Cooked Chicken, diced
4 oz Fat Free Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup Shredded Pepperjack Cheese
1/4 cup Fresh Grated Parmesan Cheese
5 oz Frozen Spinach, thawed and well drained
1 clove Garlic
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper

Recipe Directions for Chicken Stuffed Buns

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Slice the top off of each bun ? saving the tops.

  3. Hollow out the bottom of the buns (creating a ?shell?)

  4. In a medium bowl, combine all other ingredients.

  5. Spoon mixture into each bun, packing tightly, then cover with the bun tops

  6. Wrap each bun tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 20-25 minutes.
