Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Stir Fry

1 lb chicken cutlet
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 large green pepper (sliced)
1 bunch of broccoli (chopped)
1 cup of corn kernels
4 garlic cloves
3 cup of cooked brown rice
1 cup of chopped carrots
1 tbsp pepper
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp celery seed
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp of corn starch
1 1/2 cup warm water

Recipe Directions for Chicken Stir Fry

  1. clean and cut chicken into bite size chunks.

  2. season chicken with salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder, chopped garlic cloves and celery seed.

  3. start cooking white rice.

  4. heat skillet and add olive oil, once hot add seasoned chicken, stirring every few minutes til golden brown.

  5. in a strainer, steam vegetables til slightly tender. turn off.

  6. remove chicken from oil to paper towels to absorb extra oil.

  7. while pan is still hot, cook peppers and onions til slightly tender. remove from oil to paper towels.

  8. put all ingredients, cooked veggies, peppers and chicken into the same hot skillet, mix together with soy sauce.

  9. in a small bowl mix warm water with cornstarch until it dissolves, then add to skillet with the food.

  10. stir for a few minutes til mixed well and sauce starts to thicken.

  11. remove from heat.

  12. serve 3/4 cup of stir fry over 1/2 cup of cooked brown rice.
