chicken stir fry with long grain rice

Recipe Ingredients for chicken stir fry

1 chicken breast
1/8 cup shallot
3 cloves garlic
1 green onion
1 cup mushrooms
1 cup carrots
2 cups asparagus
1 vegetable bouillon cube
1/2 cup long grain brown rice
1 1/2 cups water

Recipe Directions for chicken stir fry

  1. Pour water into medium saucepan

  2. Add Brown Rice

  3. Bring to a boil

  4. Cover tightly

  5. Cook 45-50 minutes

  6. Chop vegetables into similar size pieces (bite size)

  7. Saute onions & garlic

  8. Add Chicken

  9. Cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally

  10. Add mushrooms, carrots and asparagus

  11. Cook 9 minutes or until done

  12. Serve over rice
