A nice stew-like thingie that I like to make, to be served with rice. The recipe is not set in stone, I vary the vegetables somewhat, although the bell pepper and tomatoes are always in there.

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken stew with Teriyaki sauce and curry

1 small Onions
0.5 cup Garlic
530 grams Chicken
2 1tsp Olive Oil
1 medium Orange Hothouse Bell Pepper
0.5 cup Sauce, Teriyaki, Ready-to-serve
3 medium Carrots
2 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
10 medium White Button Mushrooms Packaged
4 small whole (2-2/5" dia) Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 tbsp Curry Powder
1 tbsp Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Chicken stew with Teriyaki sauce and curry

  1. Chop the onions and garlic, throw them on the pan with some olive oil.

  2. Cut the chicken up to nice little pieces, mix it with the onion and garlic already on the pan, fry until the chicken is white.

  3. Add the Teriyaki sauce, don't forget to stir.

  4. Chop up all the veggies and mushrooms, add them to the rest of the stuff.

  5. Pour the curry and salt into a mug, add water, stir. Pour this mixture on the pan as well.

  6. Stew on low heat until the excess water evaporates and enjoy with a plate of rice :)
