Recipe Ingredients for Chicken Stew

3 tablespoons light margarine
2 chicken bouillon cubes
3 tablespoons flour
1 liter skim milk
1 liter water
3 medium potato, diced
5 carrots
1 medium leek
2 stalks celery
300 g white mushrooms
500 g chicken breast, no skin, no bone,
1 teaspoon sage
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Chicken Stew

Slice n dice your veg, set mushrooms aside. Place the rest into a medium sauce pan and cover with a liter of water,bring to boil. Continue boiling for 20 minutes. Meanwhile dice chicken breast browning it in a pan with no-stick spray, set aside. Melt margarine in pan add flour stirring til a paste is formed, add skim milk bing to a boil stirring occassionally. Sauce will thicken. Add veggies & water, chicken & mushrooms bring to a boil. Add seasonings simmer for 10 - 15 minutes more til thick n bubbly.
