Stewed chicken w/potatoes and carrots

Recipe Ingredients for Chicken stew w/potatoes and carrots

3 pound chicken
16 ounce tomatoes
16 ounce chicken broth
4 small potatoes, diced
1 cup carrots, diced
2 tbsp vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Chicken stew w/potatoes and carrots

  1. Brown chicken pieces in vegetable oil

  2. Add 1 can low sodium chicken broth, stewed tomatoes and browned chicken to dutch oven.

  3. Simmer on low for 1 hour.

  4. Add 4 small cut up potatoes, carrot and celery and continue to cook for an additional hour.
