Recipe Ingredients for Chicken in Sour Broth (Sinigang)

16 oz (raw) Chicken
1 clove Garlic
1/4 tsp Ginger, Ground
1 1tsp Olive Oil
1 medium Onions
2 medium Tomatoes
5 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1/4 tsp Pepper, Black
1 tbsp Fish Sauce
1 fruit (2-1/8" dia) Lemons
1 1/2 cup, cubes Sweetpotato

Recipe Directions for Chicken in Sour Broth (Sinigang)

  1. 1. Heat skillet, add oil, garlic, and ginger (1 tbs if you have fresh, 1/4 if powdered)

  2. 2. Add cubed chicken and brown on each sides for 10 minutes.

  3. 3. Add water, salt, pepper, fish sauce, and lemon juice. Drop in the lemon skin and boil for 30 minutes.

  4. 4. Remove lemons.

  5. 5. Add peeled and cubed sweet potato with chopped green onions until potatoes are tender.
